Hi, I’m Maya, the founder of blüm.

Here's the thing...I love being a girl. Like, genuinely, I'm so glad I'm not a boy. Being a girl is hard, but it's also the best thing ever. 

I love the matching sets. The color-coordinated everything. Changing my Kindle case every three months. Girls trip to the bathroom. The Pilates classes. All my female friendships. The whole vibe of caring how everything looks and feels. 

I noticed in fitness, everything was either serious and performance-focused (talk about intimidating), or it was trying way too hard to be "empowering." Nobody was just celebrating being a girl who enjoys taking care of themselves, however that looks.

So I made blüm for the girls who love being girls.

Think of blüm as your best friend in workout form... the one who hypes you up, matches your vibe, and never makes you feel behind.

For girls who know that wanting your ankle weights to match your mat isn't shallow, it's the reason that you will actually use them. For girls who care about aesthetics, because aesthetics make you happy, and being happy makes you consistent. Obviously. 

We are starting with ankle weights, and we designed them to be both actually good and actually cute. 

Blüm is cute + functional. We care about the details and know the vibe matters just as much as the function.
